Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Asteriq (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides software for service businesses to manage clients, quotes, jobs, invoices, and payments, with optional automation and AI-assisted features.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activity that occurs under your account; and
• Ensuring your users comply with these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Asteriq is offered on a subscription basis (“Subscription”). Prices and plan details are shown at the time of sign-up and may be updated from time to time.

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) until cancelled.
• Seats / users. If your plan includes per-user pricing, adding users may increase your monthly bill.
• Renewals. Your Subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

4. Use of the Service

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• Breaking any applicable laws or regulations;
• Uploading unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems; or
• Reverse engineering or circumventing security or usage limits.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or risks harm to us, the Service, or others.

5. Third-party services & payments

Asteriq integrates with third-party services such as payment processors (for example, Stripe). Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms between you and the third party. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their availability or performance.

6. Data & privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree that we can process data in accordance with that policy.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use that data solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asteriq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
